Clam Pass Park is a beautiful beach access point in the North Naples area of Collier County, Florida. Clam Pass Park has 171 public parking spaces, which are free to visitors who have a beach parking sticker.
This park is also one of the most popular beach access points much like Vanderbilt Beach. Clam Pass boasts 35 acres of coastal habitat and preserves and provides beach access from a three-quarter-mile boardwalk to the sandy beach.
The board walk is a destination itself for those adventurists who love a quiet nature walk. Butterflies flutter around the beautiful green backdrop and very often families can be seen taking in a relaxing afternoon in the area. If you do not want to walk, or would just like to have your toes in the sand as fast as possible, there are extended golf cart trolleys that shuttle people from the parking lot to the beach and back. The boardwalk runs through a mangrove forest of salt-tolerant red, white and black mangroves. It also has a tidal bay area that acts as a breeding ground and nursery for marine life, wildlife, specifically many species of birds. Clam Pass Park abounds with wading shorebirds, eagles, hawks, osprey, and much more!
This is one of our personal favorite beaches in the area. The boardwalk out to the beach is a scenic and peaceful adventure, and if you still want to explore further, we highly recommend walking north along the beach until you reach the pass. The pass is a fun place to explore on foot, or by swimming up the pass and into the mangroves and coastal estuaries that the pass feeds. Some of the best fishing and kayaking in the area!
Usage Fees:
Clam Pass Park is free for all to use; however, there is an $8 parking fee for all vehicles that do not have a Collier County Beach Parking Sticker.
