Our mission is to teach agriculture appreciation, outdoor education, cultural connections, and the wise use of natural resources.

We are connecting, exploring, and having FUN. We are cultivating a deeper understanding of where we live. We are getting muddy and learning new things. We offer unique and exceptional education programs that connect people, food, and the land. People of all ages experience our farm-based field trips, community events, workshops, summer camps, private gatherings and other activities. PLEASE JOIN US!

Our Place
Located just west of Hastings, Nebraska, the beautiful barns were once part of a working farm that fed more than 1,000 people for 80 years at the former state mental hospital. Original farm buildings and grounds are getting new life through our renovation efforts, creating new and expanded space for the community to gather and learn.

Our Programs
We offer hands-on, active, place-based learning activities for people of all ages. Through field trips, family programs, summer camps, workshops, community events, social media, and other activities, we are enhancing agricultural and natural literacy.
